Viraja Prema, PhDc, HHP, Reiki Master Teacher, has been naturally offering healing facilitation and energy work all of her life.  In 1995 she officially became a Certified Massage Therapist as she completed her bachelors degree in Sports Medicine.  In 2001 she completed a Masters Degree in Life Physics.  In 2002 she was initiated as a direct Usui Reiki Master Teacher by Michael Eakin of Body Tune Up School of Massage Therapy.  Throughout all of this Viraja has traveled, worked, studied and been initiated into many other healing modalities and energetic practices.  Today she is a PhD canditate in Integral Health and offers her eccletic healing services as Transformational Touch.  She uses many modalities to assist others in opening up to Univeral Life Force Energy ("Rei-Ki"), Love, relaxation and their true self.  People discover how to be comfortable in their own skin.

First Degree Reiki  (out of 3 degrees) focuses on physical healing and flowing Reiki Universal Energy to yourself and others.  Discover how to channel this energy WITHOUT depleting YOURS.

The first degree Reiki course teaches the basic theories and procedures. Four "attunements" are given to the student by the teacher. Students learn hand placement positions on the recipient's body that are thought to be most conducive to the process in a whole body treatment. Having completed the first degree course, the participant can treat himself and others with Reiki.

Reiki - First Degree - Course, Attunement, Certification 

This course includes theory, energy education, First Degree Reiki Attunements, practical applications, manual, certificate & group practice.

No pre-requisites are required or prior experience with energy work

Reiki - Second Degree - Course, Attunement, Certification

In the second degree Reiki course, the student learns the use of three symbols which are said to enhance the strength and distance over which the effect can be exerted.  Another attunement is given, which is said to further increase the capacity for Reiki to flow through the student, as well as empowering the use of the symbols.  Distance Healing is activated and Emotional Healing tends to be more prevalent with 2nd degree Reiki Initiation.
